Are you eligible?
You’re eligible for the Victorian Solar Panel Rebate if:
- Your household has a combined income of less than $180,000 per year before tax (based on the most recent tax assessment notices for the home owners)
- You are an owner-occupier of a home valued at under $3,000,000 (a copy of a recent Council rates notice will be required)
- You don’t already have a solar panel system installed on your property
- You choose a Clean Energy Council (CEC) Approved Product (which all of our premium LG solar panels are) and use a CEC Accredited Installer (which all of our installers are)
- You have an eligible solar panel system installed on or after 19 August 2018
- Engage an installer who can provide a statement that they have not received a WorkSafe infringement notice in the past three years (which all our installers provide

Rebates explained
STC's vs Victorian Rebate
The Federal Government provide a rebate for solar installations across Australia. They are known as STC's (Small Scale Technology Certificates) and each year the asmount you can claim reduces.
In addition to this the Victorian Government have announced a Solar Rebate of up to $2,225 which came into effect from August 19th 2018.
This means that a Victorian looking to add solar onto their home or who is building a new home they can end up with only paying *1/3 of the price of the system.

Whats required to claim
How do I claim up to $2,225.00 rebate under the new Victorian Solar Rebate?
When speaking to a prospective solar company, make sure they can provide the documents needed to claim a rebate.
This includes electronic and paper copies of the following documentation:
- The Commonwealth Solar PV STC Assignment Form
- The Solar Connection Form, embedded micro generator form or similar
- The Electrical Work Request
- The Certificate of Electrical Safety
- An invoice from the installer detailing the size, cost and date of installation of the solar PV system
Choose your supplier wisely
Your system cannot be quoted over the phone or by email without having an experienced solar designer attend your property.
Sunrise Solar Australia will not provide a price until we have visited your home/site to discuss your current power needs to make sure what you end up choosing will do the job for you into the future.
